Kelburne was established over 140 years ago in Paisley in the West of Scotland. Over this period it has maintained a strong sporting presence in the local area. Founded as a Cricket Club in 1860, it’s superb grounds have been used for various other sports with Hockey becoming an increasingly large part of the club from the late 1960s onwards. In addition to the active sports of Cricket, Hockey and Squash, the club is also home to Kelburne Bridge Club and the Whitehaugh Residents Association. As a Club, Kelburne is able to offer full family participation, with teams for men, women, boys and girls and open to all age groups from under-10 through to International level. Kelburne has always worked extremely hard to provide opportunities for junior players who are nurtured and encouraged to make the transition to senior sport in the club, and are extremely proud of our “home grown” players in our senior ranks. The Club has a strong family focus that encourages participation at all levels of endeavour whether it be playing, organizing activities or enjoying each other’s company. This Club is proud of its history in producing representative players, coaches and administrators. If you are interested in being a part of our success, we’ll welcome your participation.
